New homes in Ontario Ranch

Ontario Ranch, in the south of the city, is one of the largest new-home areas in the Inland Empire, with communities such as New Haven and Park Place. Moving into a brand-new home means HOA rules, sometimes builder rules about move-in times, and new floors and paint to protect. Send us the closing or key date and the HOA rules, or check with the HOA if you are unsure, and we book the crew to fit.

Older homes and apartments

North of the 10, around downtown and Euclid Avenue, Ontario has older single-story homes and apartment complexes with exterior stairs and shared parking. Older houses get floor runners and door-jamb protection; for apartments, stairs are part of the hourly rate.

Offices, the airport and freeways

Ontario is a business hub around Ontario International Airport and the convention center, with offices along the 10 corridor. We move offices after hours or on weekends; see office moving. The 10, the 60 and the 15 all cross the city and carry heavy truck traffic, so we plan the start time around rush hour. Events at the arena on the east side of downtown can slow traffic nearby.

How it works

Your Ontario move in four steps

  1. Step 1: Tell us about the move

Call or send the form with both addresses. A short phone or video walk-through of your Ontario home sizes the crew and the truck.

  2. Step 2: Get a written estimate

Hourly rate, crew size and estimated hours in writing before you book. Weekday and mid-month dates are the easiest to get.

  3. Step 3: Moving day

The lead mover calls ahead, the crew protects floors and door frames and wraps every piece of furniture before it leaves the room.

  4. Step 4: Set up in the new home

Furniture placed where you want it, beds and tables put back together, and a walk-through with you before the crew leaves.

Tips for your move

Moving to the Inland Empire: Cities, Commutes and Heat

Most people moving to the Inland Empire tell us the same thing: they want more space. A bigger yard, a garage that fits a car, a newer house, or simply more home for the money than they could find in Los Angeles or Orange County. Our headquarters is in Moreno Valley, so the Inland Empire is home turf for our crews, and we see what works (and what goes wrong) on moving day across both counties.

Moving to North County San Diego: Coast vs. Inland Guide

North County San Diego is the stretch of San Diego County between Camp Pendleton and the city of San Diego. When people talk about moving to North County San Diego, they usually mean one of five cities: Oceanside, Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos or Escondido. Our Escondido office runs moves across all of them, and the first question we help people answer is simple: coast or inland?

Moving from the Bay Area to Southern California: A Guide

Moving from the Bay Area to Southern California is one of the most common long-distance moves in the state. We see it from San Francisco, the East Bay, the Peninsula, San Jose and Sacramento, headed to Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego. Because the whole trip stays inside California, it works differently from a local hourly move, and knowing how it works makes planning much easier.
