How we work
A moving day with JFK Moving
The lead mover calls before arrival and walks the home with you before anything is loaded, confirming what is moving, what is fragile and where the truck can park. Floors and door frames are protected first. Furniture is wrapped in the room it stands in, loaded by weight and shape, and strapped in the truck. At the new home it is placed where you point, beds and tables are rebuilt, and you pay once everything is inside. If something is not right, the lead handles it on the spot, and the office follows up the next day.

Call or send photos and a short video of each room. You get a written hourly rate and a realistic time range.

A deposit holds your day. We send the certificate of insurance your building needs.

The lead mover calls before arrival, walks the home with you, and the crew wraps, loads and drives.

Step 4: Settle in
Furniture reassembled and placed where you want it. You pay at the end, once everything is inside.

Verified Great guys to work with The guys were fast, nice and great to work with. They were also honest and careful with all of my belongings. I say honest because something was broken and they showed me before moving it. They did NOT break it. They just noticed it had been repaired and instead of pretending nothing was wrong, they pointed it out even though I may have thought they did it. It was from the previous move.
I recently used JFK moving for a second time. Just like the first time the service was excellent, they arrived on time, and there were no extra charges or outrageous fees. The movers were so skilled and were able to get my furniture in and out without any problem. The workers handled my items with care and put them just where I wanted them At the end of the move, I actually thought the fee would be more than it was. If you’re considering a move, I highly recommend JFK moving. As a two time customer, I could say that the service was outstanding both times.
The team was great and was very thorough moving all our things, checking in with us throughout the process. It was a super long day but they were friendly and made the moving process less stressful. Definitely will use them again for our next move.

JFK Movers were excellent. They were friendly, efficient and professional. I was very grateful that they offered to put my personal , non- storage items in my car. I had a recent knee injury so this proved to be very helpful. The movers moved my things in record time; I was impressed and will use them again in the future when I have another planned move.

Ask whether the movers are employees or day labor, whether the estimate is in writing, and how double drive time is applied.
