Pricing
How single item moves are priced
Single item and small-load moves are local moves, so they follow the same rules: an hourly rate for two movers and a truck, a minimum charge, and double drive time for the trip between pickup and drop-off. Most single items are done inside the minimum. Tell us what the item is, where it is (floor, stairs, elevator) and both addresses, and we will quote it on the spot. Heavy specialty items carry a flat fee quoted in advance.

Verified Great guys to work with The guys were fast, nice and great to work with. They were also honest and careful with all of my belongings. I say honest because something was broken and they showed me before moving it. They did NOT break it. They just noticed it had been repaired and instead of pretending nothing was wrong, they pointed it out even though I may have thought they did it. It was from the previous move.
I recently used JFK moving for a second time. Just like the first time the service was excellent, they arrived on time, and there were no extra charges or outrageous fees. The movers were so skilled and were able to get my furniture in and out without any problem. The workers handled my items with care and put them just where I wanted them At the end of the move, I actually thought the fee would be more than it was. If you’re considering a move, I highly recommend JFK moving. As a two time customer, I could say that the service was outstanding both times.
The team was great and was very thorough moving all our things, checking in with us throughout the process. It was a super long day but they were friendly and made the moving process less stressful. Definitely will use them again for our next move.

JFK Movers were excellent. They were friendly, efficient and professional. I was very grateful that they offered to put my personal , non- storage items in my car. I had a recent knee injury so this proved to be very helpful. The movers moved my things in record time; I was impressed and will use them again in the future when I have another planned move.

When a single item move makes sense
Renting a truck for one sofa means the rental, the fuel, a friend and a back strain. A single item move sends two movers and a truck with blankets and straps for a fixed, short job, usually the same week. It is the right option for a marketplace purchase in Los Angeles that the seller will not deliver, a fridge going to a rental in Orange County, or a piano moving between family homes in the Inland Empire.
Store and marketplace pickups
Give us the store or seller’s address, the pickup window and a copy of the order if a store needs it. The crew checks the item for damage at pickup, wraps it, and delivers and places it at your home. If the item needs disassembly to fit through a door, the crew does that and rebuilds it.

We move appliances that are already disconnected and drained. Reconnection is not included.
Within Southern California, yes, as a local move. For other states, call to ask about adding the item to a scheduled long-distance route.
